Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how FlacronCV ('we', 'us', or 'our') collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our service.

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed).
  • CV Content: The CV and cover letter data you enter is stored securely and associated with your account.
  • Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage analytics (pages visited, features used) to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • To provide and maintain our service
  • To improve and personalize your experience
  • To send important service updates and notifications
  • To detect and prevent fraud and security issues
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with the service providers needed to operate FlacronCV — Firebase (hosting, authentication, database, and file storage), Stripe (payment processing), Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES, which sends our transactional and notification email, on servers in the United States), and OpenAI (which processes the CV and cover-letter content you submit to power our AI features, on servers in the United States). All providers are bound by data-processing and confidentiality agreements.

4. Data Security

We protect your data using TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Access to your data is strictly controlled and audited.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Right to Erasure: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing privacy@flacroncv.com.
  • Right to Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account from your settings immediately deactivates it and ends all sessions. Permanent erasure of your stored documents is carried out on request — email privacy@flacroncv.com and we will complete it within 30 days.
